Marsh Lane again.

The beauty of Marsh Lane for me is that it is my local patch only a 15 minute easy drive from home.So this time of year when something decent might drop in I pop over there quite often to have a quick look round.I've been there 3 times this week and each time it was surprisingly cold and gloomy so no decent shots and no rarities.

Whilst a lot of my friends are already getting decent shots of Willow Warblers I continue to struggle to get a decent shot this year of a Chiffchaff.

On two separate days I've been lucky enough to see a Wheatear on the crop field but both times it's been too distant and too gloomy for a decent shots but nice to see anyhow.

I managed some better shots of the year of a Little Ringed Plover from the car park hide.

The Song Thrush was singing out again from the top of it's usual tree in the old road.

A Treecreeper seem to like the trees on the path that leads to the river hide.I've been lucky enough to see it every time but not lucky enough to get a decent shot even though it's happy yo come pretty close.
