A FEW RECENT MARSH LANE SHOTS.

Been down to Marsh Lane a couple of times this week and managed to limp round and get a few shots. The knee is still giving me trouble and I'm beginning to believe a friend who told me "When you get to our age an injury takes ages to recover and sometimes never does". Oh Dear ! !

The hybrid Goose was on the CP pool.I assume it's a Greylag/Canada Goose hybrid ?

A couple of young Sedge Warblers (I think they are Sedgies) were flitting around the causeway bushes.

A Grey Heron and a Common Sandpiper were on the little island in front of the Oak hide.

A Little Egret was on the end of the big island on the RW pool.It was ringed with a "D" and an "H".

Did a little better with getting shots of the two juvenile Water Rails from the north causeway hide. The tactics they both use to avoid getting their picture taken are to hide behind the reeds,to dash across open water and to come too close for the lens to focus.
