STILL SLIM PICKINGS AT THE LOCAL PATCH.


Been down to Marsh Lane the last two mornings but I'm afraid neither visit has found any new birds.Also to make matters worse Big Whitey has left and has not been seen for a few days now.

All I've done is use the time to practice with the new camera.This Common Buzzard was sitting happily on a post about 120 m away so I was quite pleased with the shots I got at that distance.Quite soon some Crows had a go at it.










Here are a few of the other shots I managed nothing special I'm afraid except perhaps with the Water Rail and a flight shot of a small bird.
