A quick visit to Marsh Lane.

Early this morning I paid a quick visit to Marsh Lane hoping that some Yellow Wagtails were waiting in front of the Car Park hide for me to take some shots. They weren't there. How inconsiderate.

The Pintail for once was in front of the hide but it was fast asleep. There was no sign of Saturday's Garganeys but I did get a few shots of a couple of Linnets on the causeway.

Failed to get any other decent shots in my short visit and completely missed a fly through by a Peregrine. My efforts to get a flight shot of a LRP only got limited success but did see my first Common Terns of the year.I also got an amusing shot of a pair of Gadwalls one getting a tow from the other (or biting it's leg).

Cracking shots of the Linnets, the first being very photogenic.

I managed my 1st shot of a Chiffchaff yesterday but nowhere near your standard :-(

Very nice linnet shots. I don't think I've seen any there, well, not to take photos of.
