Marsh Lane.

Sunday morning I popped over to Marsh Lane earlier enough I hoped to see the Iceland Gull that had been present early on the previous morning.Alas there was no sign.

Although it was a sunny morning when I arrived it was surprisingly cold with bitter wind blowing.Didn't see much from the CP hide so I trotted off to the Oak hide and soon found a Snipe in the marsh but alas it was not the Jack Snipe.

Also in the marsh was a Grey Heron that was trying to catch some frogs for it's breakfast. It was pretty successful.

It was nice to see at least 4 Redshanks flying around sometimes coming close enough for me to get my best  shots of them so far this year.

It was obviously a mistake putting away the thermals because I left as I was very cold. What a wimp!!! As I headed for the car though I managed a shot of a Meadow Pipit that was in the car park.
