Popped over to Marsh Lane this morning getting there at 9.30 AM to find it cool and very windy.
Found my first Yellow Wagtail of the year at the back of one of the Railway Pool islands.
I thought that one of the three Terns on the Railway pool was an Arctic (there's been one at Shustoke recently) so took loads of shots but when I checked it out on the computer I am sure that yet again I was wrong it was just a Common..I had better luck in the back gate coppice where I found 3 male Blackcaps flitting around and at least 3 Willow Warblers chasing each other.
