WINTER THRUSHES.

Although I've seen loads of them already this winter today was the first time I've been able to get close enough to Redwings and Fieldfares to get some decent shots. It was made better because I found them locally on some Rowan berry trees.

A couple of shots first of some birds taken recently down Marsh Lane.My first flight shot of a Common Gull and of a Goldcrest caught by the ringer on his last visit.

The worry about seeing these winter thrushes devouring the Rowan tree berries was that they might eat them all up if any Waxwings turn up.
