It was very nice to go over to Marsh Lane early on Saturday and lunchtime on Sunday with the weather warm and sunny.That was the good news the bad was I didn't manage any decent shots.
On Saturday I did manage some OK shots of some of the Chiffchaffs on site but they were nearly all high up in the trees.
I also managed a dismal but first of the year shot of a Willow Warbler.
This morning as luck would have it I was trapped in doors awaiting a delivery so when the news came through that 2 Sandwich Terns were on the RW pool I had to miss out which called for some heavy duty swearing.They'd long gone when I got there lunchtime and seeing 7 Common Terns was no compensation.
