A PAIR OF MED GULLS AT THE LOCAL PATCH.

Took a chance with the weather this morning and popped over to Marsh Lane getting there at 9.00 AM.It was not a good move because what little brightness that was about had gone and it was gloomy with drizzle in the air.

There was a lone Yellowhammer on the CP feeder bushes and considering the dull conditions I managed a decent shot.

The pools were all flooded and many islands were under water. The only show in town turned out to be a pair of Med Gulls on one of the remaining islands on the Railway pool.Managed some shots in the gloom.

The BH Gulls wouldn't leave them alone for long and constantly were giving them  some hassle.

Managed a few shots of the pair together.Pity it was not a bit brighter.
