Friday Evening at Marsh Lane.

As it was a fine evening with little wind I thought I'd pop over to Marsh lane to see if the Barn Owl would come out to play.

Spent the first half an hour trying to see the Cetti's in the reedbed.He was calling out loudly but deep in the reeds so all I got was a very brief glimpse as he darted about.

Met another birder who had been trying to see a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker that was calling out near the Oak hide feeders.Nice if one was here again.

The Barn Owl came out fairly late on so the light was not good but what a show it put on.Fabulous birds!!!!! Got a few shots all a bit gloomy which I'm sure is down to me.
