MARSH LANE.

Got to Marsh Lane early this morning although it was still cold it was very pleasant and sunny.Soon got some shots of a Redshank and a pair of Oystercatchers but a Dunlin was far too distant for my lens. Also included is a shot of a Common Tern that I got on Thursday which for me was the first of the year.

From the railway hide along the track hedge line there was a Common Buzzard about 70m away and another one another 50m away.Nothing happened for half an hour when suddenly the furthest one flew to the nearest one.It was obviously getting up it's courage because this happened.

This passion in the open did not please the BH Gull police and one flew over the action clearly shouting out "Get a room for gods sake"

The chat after the action did not go well for the male because the female was heard to say "Is that all you've got !!!!! "  Don't worry about it mate we've all been there.

Did get some distant shots of my first Willow Warbler of the year not far from the railway hide.

Failed to get any shots of a very nice male Blackcap on the causeway and this hoped for White Wagtail was not one of the three present yesterday and turned out to be a Pied.Damn !!!
