I decided early Saturday morning to go and see if the Dusky Warbler was still at Marsh Lane.
I got there just before 8.00 AM .It was certainly not the weather for a Fairweatherbirder to be out and about as it was very damp and gloomy.I was very surprised when I entered the Horse Paddock field to see at least 30 birders already there and the numbers soon built up to over 50.
It showed very fleetingly and usually low down in the hedge.Getting shots was almost impossible so all I ended up with was probably the worst ever shot taken of a Dusky Warbler (I hope you can see it it's in the middle of the shot but well hidden).It took me nearly 2 hours to get it !!!!
