MARSH LANE AGAIN.

Since the reported disappearance of the Dusky Warbler on Tuesday morning I've popped over to Marsh Lane a couple of times hoping to become a local hero and re find it but alas despite spending some time in it's favoured spots I failed.

On both visits I had a look round the pools which all have pretty high water levels.Although there were masses of birds on show I did not see anything of note except a group of 60+ Shovellers in a tight group presumably feeding.

The best fun by far for me was trying to get some shots of a Kestrel that was hunting on the crop field. It wouldn't let me get close but great to see as these chaps are not so easy to find these days.
