With nothing decent reported locally on Friday morning I decided to pop over to Marsh Lane again.The weatherman had promised me a sunny morning but yet again he got it wrong as it was overcast and pretty chilly.
Nothing new on the car park pool so off I headed to the Oak hide where I spotted a rather unwelcome visitor close by on the marsh.
Couldn't find anything decent on the railway pool till a Little Egret flew in which not only stayed a long way off but didn't stay long either.
A Green Woodpecker called out behind the hide just past the feeders and luckily stayed long enough for me to rattle off a few shots.
