LOCAL PATCH VISIT.

On Tuesday morning I popped over to Marsh Lane getting there at 8.30 AM and finding for a nice change sunny weather.

From the CP hide a Redshank was pretty close but none of the 4 Common Sandpipers on view would came close.

My best moment of my visit was at last catching up with the first Summer Med. Gull that's been around for a while now but has been avoiding me.Many thanks to Brian Harris who spotted it on one of the islands in front of the Oak hide.

There were several Sedge Warblers on site but were very hard to see but did manage a distant shot from the Oak hide.

The pair of Great Crested Grebes were doing their dance again on the CP pool this time.
