You can still see that I have not got any new shots to post so I will continue with some more old shots from my local patch Marsh Lane.
We sometimes get some Egyptian Geese drop in but on March 1st 2012 we had 5 drop in to the CP pool.Here is a shot of two of them.
Most Winters we get a Garganey that drops in usually a male but on the 15th of April 2013 we were lucky enough to have a pair on the CP pool.
Every year we get some Black-tailed Godwits drop in.This one was found on the main island on the CP pool on the 26th of April 2013.
In April of 2013 a drake Mandarin was a regular visitor and appeared to "team up" with a female Mallard.This shot was taken on the 26th.
Peregrines can be seen occasionally every year.This shot was taken as one flew near the CP hide on the 1st of October 2012.
Drake Pintails are great looking ducks.This one showed well on the CP pool on the 1st March 2012.
